Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Employees Honored
Jean Armstrong, Jennie’s well-known and well-respected Family Resource Center Director, has been featured recently on KETV Ch. 7’s Sunday morning program talking about the Shaken Baby Task Force. She has also been the focus of two separate Nonpareil articles regarding the Task Force as well as the unique Memory Bags Jennie gives out to grieving children.

Advanced Wound Center Director Jen Fletcher spent Monday on KMTV Ch. 3’s midday program, talking about the “Ask The Expert” panel discussion on diabetes, held this past Tuesday in the Hospital cafeteria. It was a huge success.

And finally, long time Jennie employee Jill White was recently honored by the Iowa High School Athletic Association for her contributions in Sports Medicine. It was a special award, and IWCC’s Ch. 17 ran a great segment this month featuring Jill. They showed a glimpse into the daily life of a Jennie Ed Sports Med trainer - a group that although does not spend much of their work time at the Hospital, is as much in the public eye as any Jennie department.
