Charitable Patient Care Fund

Charitable care is one of the most rewarding programs at the Foundation. For hundreds of Jennie Edmundson Hospital patients in genuine need each year, coping with serious illness and mounting medical bills at the same time can be overwhelming. The Foundation’s Charitable Patient Care Fund helps relieve the burden with funding for medical services, therapy and prescriptions. Social workers, physicians, nurses and caregivers work with the Foundation to identify patients who are unable to purchase their own prescription medications. Support from friends like you fund a limited supply until a long-term solution is determined.

Charitable Cancer Patient Fund

This fund is used to provide financial assistance to JEH Cancer Center patients in their time of need. This fund has helped uninsured and underinsured cancer patients with co-pays, deductibles, treatments, medications and transportation. Our primary source of funds for the Charitable Cancer Patient Fund is raised through our annual Spirit of Courage Weekend. This weekend event serves as the largest fund raising effort for the Jennie Edmundson Foundation.
